Richard S. Bower

Richard S. Bower was admitted to the Idaho Bar in 2010 after completing a broad and rigorous education program that included earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting at one of the nation’s top accounting schools followed by a master’s degree in public administration with emphasis on local governments and public finance.  Upon earning a J.D. degree from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School, Mr. Bower joined the firm as an associate attorney.

In 2011, Mr. Bower took a one-year sabbatical from the firm to serve as law clerk to the Honorable Dee V. Benson of United States District Court for the District of Utah.  In this position, Mr. Bower was immersed in complex litigation at the federal trial court level.

Mr. Bower brings his extensive education and federal court experience to BST&M where his professional work includes intellectual property, business counseling, agricultural law and family wealth management.

Mr. Bower was born in Caldwell, Idaho and graduated from Skyview High School in Nampa, Idaho.  After high school, Mr. Bower attended Ricks College, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Brigham Young University on basketball scholarships where he was a standout athlete.  He was privileged to participate in the national junior college championships where he was named to the national all-tournament team, and in three NCAA tournaments.
